As many have heard, beloved pinball designers Barry Oursler and Python Anghelo have both been battling cancer and are having difficulty covering the associated costs. For more details on their situations, or to donate directly, please visit these links:

Barry and Python have designed many great classic machines, including collaborating on hugely popular and successful games like Pin-Bot/Jack-Bot, Cyclone, and Taxi.
Entry fee is $20 -per tournament-, so a total of $40 if you want to play in both! Payment can be made on the day, no pre-registration.This is a charity tournament, so there will be no cash prizes. 100% of the entry fees will go to Barry and Python. In order to help us raise money, the IFPA is assigning a full points base value of 25 world pinball player ranking (WPPR) points to -each- of these tournaments. We will also be trying to round up some cool prizes to give away, and the winner of the Python tournament will receive a $150 Pinball Inc gift certificate!
Both tournaments will be held on the same day, back to back, beginning at Noon. We will be using the 3-strikes Brackelope: Tournament Builder knockout format. If by some chance we have a massive turnout and the first tournament runs long, we may have to cut the number of strikes down for the second tournament. Hopefully this won’t be a problem if we keep things moving along quickly.
If the first (Barry Oursler) tournament ends before 5:00, we will start the second (Python) tournament at 5:00. If it goes past 5:00, we will start the second tournament whenever the first one ends. If you can only make the second tournament, you can use this as a general idea of when to show up.
