Public Transit to Tacoma

Our post about taking the bus to tacoma from seattle has been updated

I checked the current schedules for taking the bus to this weekend’s NW Pinball & Arcade Show and updated the post. Not much has changed this year so if you’ve done it before you should be good. Shablam! Pinball Fundraiser

Admiral Pub is hosting a fundraiser tournament for the Seattle Shablam softball team on Saturday April 22

Annual AARP Tournament

AARP aka “the Association of Almost Retired Pinballers” is happening on Saturday april 22nd at Add-a-Ball

This annual tournament is restricted to those ages 40 and over and it’s always a good time. It’s also Claire’s birthday tournament so say something nice to her (at least!) Start time is 3pm. 40+

Calendar Error FIXED

April 6th update: The error on mobile when viewing the calendar seems to be fixed. please let us know if you experience any other problems on the site

Original post: On mobile devices our Calendar will sometimes have a “too many redirects” error” when choosing an event catagory. As far as we know this only happens when choosing one of the catagories from the drop down menu on the calendar page. The calendar seems to be working otherwise – sorry for the inconvenience!  Please let us know if you experience this error anywhere else on the site. Thanks.

NWPAS Satellite Series in Tacoma

The second opportunity for local pinball players to win passes to this year’s NW Pinball & Arcade Show will be at the Triple Knock

NWPAS Satellite Series: Tacoma Showdown happens on Wednesday March 29th at the Triple Knock and will have a 3-strike format. The start time is at 7:30 (sharp) which is the normal time of their regular weeklies but slightly earlier than most Seattle tourneys, so plan accordingly if you are driving. The new movie about how Roger Sharpe saved pinball in 1976 became available this weekend on various sites

IFPA North American Pinball Championship Live

Watch the tournament live on Twitch today and root on this year’s local WA State Champion Lonnie Langford (LWL)

It’s been 3 years since the last IFPA North American Pinball Championship. On Thursday, March 9th the Championship will be held at District 82 Pinball Arcade in DePere WI. The Winners of their State and Provincial Championship will play for the Title of North American Champion. Along with Lonnie the Pacific NW is also represented by Robert Gagno, Colin Urban and Raymond Davidson.
